Things have been a bit crazy over here! The summer was insanely busy with a family trip to Oregon, a business trip to Nashville and be taking on a new job as a middle/high school Speech Language Pathologist. To say this new job has rocked my world is an understatement. I went from working from home full time and out of the house two days a week to working out of the house full time and working from home on top of that. My wellness business is thriving but my heart was pulled in the direction of the public school my own kids go to. Something in the universe wanted me at that specific school and when they denied my request to come on part time I had to take the opportunity. When you are called you must listen. I love that I get to work with (in my opinion) the most fragile age of all, the tweens and early teens. This is where so many girls are lost. I get to be there and make an impact on a few of them. I wish I could reach more but for now I will work with the few that seek me out and hope I can be a positive roll model and help them to keep their light shining through these very hard year. It also doesn't hurt that I get to be in the thick of it with my own 6th and 7th grader as well. Like I said, I was called to this by the universe to I will listen. Even if my energy levels are draining from getting up at 5:30 am every day. This coming from the most non-morning person you will ever meet! Thank goodness the company I have aligned with has me covered and is coming out with a new, healthy, adaptogen filled energy drink to get my through this transition in my life. #Bea will be here any day now and we are all just waiting impatiently to get our hands on it!!! Let me know if you want some before it's gone!
